Corinne Day. Forever.

Corinne Day, a London photographer who’s credited with launching Kate Moss‘ career on the pages of The Face in 1990, passed away yesterday from a brain tumor. Such a great talent and will be missed in the industry.

Lee Miller at SF Moma

Lee Miller was an American roaring 20's Vogue fashion model and an avant-garde muse for Man Ray, Cocteau and Picasso.  She was also a fearless WWII photojournalist on the German front lines.  Her early surrealist-influenced photographs from war-torn to fashion pages, Miller always used the lens as an investigative tool to what was really going on.

The current retrospective going on at SF Moma displays Miller's career as a photographer and explores her transformation from muse to a photojournalist.

Now through September 14th

"New Archives" by Steven Lippman

Jared Leto by Steven Lippman

Like any good California girl, I support all surfers. Photographer, Steven Lippman's "New Archives" Exhibition is now open at Canvas Gallery in Malibu. "New Archives" embodies the fusion of travel, surf, celebrity, music and alternative cultures. Lippman, a Los Angeles native, was a former professional skateboarder and surfer before he got into photography. He has been at the epicenter of California beach culture his entire life. His photographs have been featured in Vogue, Vanity Fair, Blackbook Magazine and many others. He is also the driving creative force behind Malibu Magazine.
