Marie Claire Needs Intern. (NYC)

Marie Claire needs winter/spring interns. Read carefully.

Must be: detail-oriented, highly-motivated to work in the fashion industry, organized and able to work in a very fast-paced environment.

Candidates must start in Dec- Jan (WINTER) or Jan- May (SPRING).

Unpaid internship, must be able to commit to a MINIMUM of THREE to FIVE full days a week for COLLEGE CREDIT.

Responsibilities include, managing the fashion closet, checking in and returning samples, creating story/trend boards, setting up for run-thru, running errands and assisting on special projects.

Previous fashion closet experience is preferred.

Marie Claire Needs Fashion Intern for the fall
Let me break it to you...working in fashion, especially a magazine is not always how a reality show portrays it. With that said, if you're ready to step foot into the famous Hearst Building of Manhattan with a strong interest in the industry (not just 'cuz you love shoes) and learn how to be a player in the game, read on.
- Must be available at least 2-3 days a week
- Unpaid internship, school credit given
- Responsibilities include mainly the fashion closet where you are all about samples, returns of samples, coordinating pick-ups and general inventory
- Being busy is your job

Marie Claire Needs Fall '08 Intern

"You're either in, or you're out." Wait, that's Heidi. What does Nina Garcia always say? Oh well, I guess you can find out. Marie Claire is need of fall '08 interns for their fashion closet.  So, my college readers prep that resume or if you have a little sister or cousin, be a dear and pass this on.  Not sure if it's paid or unpaid internship, but I wouldn't worry so much, have you seen the gorgeous Hearst Building? The internship does start ASAP and lasts through December. 

Interns responsibilities are just like how you see it in that movie (not so much The Hills on this one, NYC interns rarely sit down).  Calling publicists for samples, assisting with editorial shoots, steaming clothes, id'ing samples, becoming one with a digital camera and yeah, coffee runs.
