Recession Obsession: Invest for months to come...
All this obsession with save a penny here and there, and then you're like where did it go? It obviously will not get you far especially when you realize how unhappy you are with your look. The downturn is on the economy, not your sense of style. Take these for instance that not only support and possibly boost the American retail a smidge, but will make you feel good...
Alexander Wang crepe cassis dress. It's been said over and over that whatever the economic climate is, the best investment is the LBD. And this 100% silk crepe number is the one to bring your sexy back. $598
3.1 Phillip Lim ruffle back sweater. Do not underestimate the power of gray. This loose, sweatshirt crew neck is a little bit of cashmere and wool and offers as a wonderful "default" for morning rush hours or loungy weekend brunches. $476
Karen Walker wicker dress. It's possibly one of my favorite mini-shift dresses out there right now. The wide elbow can make it sufficient for the office and the sculptured design gives it an elegant flair. $540
