Versace Needs PR/Marketing Intern. (NYC)

Versace is looking for Spring 2010 candidates to fill intern positions in the Marketing and Events department.

Details of Internship: Prospective interns must be Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel sufficient.
Prospective interns must be pro-active, organized and well spoken.
Prospective interns must be able to work in a fast paced and often hectic environment.
Advanced communication and writing skills required. Prospective interns must work 3-5 days/week.

Responsibilities Include:
Assisting in the coordination and planning of upcoming events
Research of competitors in magazines, e-mail blasts, and news publications
Keeping track of online marketing trends such as blogs and social networking sites
Participate in bi-weekly marketing and competitor meetings
Updating and maintaining the calendar of events
Keeping track of all packages that are sent and received by the department
Compiling updated information of research on the target market
Attend competitor trunk shows and other marketing events
