Rogan Does Loomstate for Target

Rogan Gregory's delivers Loomstate, its second capsule collection for Target, which will be in stores in one month.  Just in time for an eco-friendly sweltering summer!

Stipe's Installation


Michael Stipe recently unveiled an installation at the Rogan store on Bowery in Manhattan.  
A total of 500 cardboard boxes throughout the store each bears "12:26 a.m." the time Stipe was born. The musician/activist/producer/artist credits his inspiration to the designer Rogan Gregory.  Stipe's collection of bronze mementos will be displayed exclusively in the store for the next month.  Various objects that are immortalized in bronze include cameras such as the Polaroid, a cassette tape and a clock radio.  



"The radio alarm clock...changed forever the fragile state between sleeping and waking, allowing you to wake to your favorite radio station.  The Polaroid (one shot and sx70) revolutionized photography by providing instant images available to anyone.  Cassettes provided portable, compact music, altering forever the influence of radio as the individual became their own disc jockey."  - Michael Stipe

The Insanity That is Rogan

What an exciting jam packed week it was for eco-fashion designer Rogan Gregory. With his successful launch of Rogan for Target Go International, also known as Target at Barneys, the event itself was nuts. Under the Target-Barneys collaboration, Rogan's new line of 60 pieces are on sale at Barney's for a few days before it heads to Target stores for about six weeks.

Rogan continued to be a crowd pleaser at the opening of his new store on Bowery and Bond Street. Located in the old and historical Bouwerie Lane Theater, the store inflicts the designer's minimal aesthetic style, but what really got the party crowd going was a stocked bar of 40-ounce malt liquor bottles. "Bowery is a little cracky, but it's got soul and integrity," Rogan said. "I hope we can contribute to that."

Rogan's Target Launch at Barney's

Rogan Gregory's exclusive line for Target is so well anticipated that Julie Gilhart (fashion director) from Barney's New York has maneuvered the launch to be at the Barney's flagship stores in Beverly Hills and New York City. This will be Barney's first time carrying Target merchandise and will be available starting May 8th on the Co-op floor. The selective pieces will be on stock for five days, then shoppers will have to await the mass debut of the collection.
