Ryan McGinley; Fireworks Hysteria
Acclaimed New York artist, Ryan McGinley will have his first West Coast debut solo opening May 9th at Ratio 3 Gallery in San Francisco.
Ryan McGinley's new works will present color photographs that chronicle the summer road trips he has taken across the U.S. in the past three years. Inspired by images from 1960-'s and 1970's nudist magazines, McGinley places his naked subjects in sublime and breathtaking situations using various landscapes of the U.S. as the backdrop.
