Kristen Bell Pledges To Shun the Sun

Why has Kristen Bell, star of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, pledged to "Glow in the Dark" this summer? According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, more than one million Americans are diagnosed with skin cancer every year and more than 90% of the cancers are caused by skin cancer.

"Overexposure to the sun can cause premature aging of the skin and contribute to the development of skin cancer," according to Dr. Diane Berson, dermatologist. "It is therefore important to protect your skin from the sun's damaging rays; if you want the "glow" get it safely from a moisturizer with darkening benefits... and not from the sun or tanning booth, which is just as harmful."

In order to raise awarenes, Jergens skincare and Kristen Bell are supporting The Skin Cancer Foundation through the "Glow in the Dark" Campaign to encourage women to give up their bad tanning habits in favor of safe alternatives to help you glow without sun.

Join Kristen Bell and log on to Jergens.com and pledge to get your glow in the dark. For every pledge made, Jergens skincare will donate a pre-determined amount to The Skin Cancer Foundation. And 500 people will be chosen at random to receive a sample of new Jergens natural glow express Body Moisturizer and a limited edition t-shirt that literally glows in the dark.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall opens in theaters April 18th.
