Recession Special anyone?  Earnest & Sewn is doing what they can starting this Tuesday December 2nd and every Tuesday until January 2nd, '09.  Only at their boutique on Washington Street, they're launching a "recession-proof" back room filled with items all less than $50.  

Plus during these "recession Tuesdays" (I'm terming it, for the record), you can get up to 40% off on Earnest Sewn products along with free refreshments.  And the ultimate goodie-goodie is their special canned food drive that will go towards Food Bank for New York and New York City Cares. Earnest Sewn + Ruffian

(NYC) Starting May 27th and through June 9th, Ruffian will take residence in the back room at Earnest Sewn's boutique in the Meatpacking District. This is in efforts to hype up their Fall 2008 line of needlepoint graffiti dresses and skinny denim suits and also in collaboration with artist Anne Koch for a visual installation. The theme is Boarding School Rebel, so surely the installation will be accompanied with skinny black ties. A party to celebrate the collection will be held on May 27th at Earnest Sewn's shop in the Meatpacking.
