We Love You Lauren

Lauren Hutton, the legendary model of the 60's proves that it has nothing to do with age. Joined by young It-Brit girl du jour, 

Alice Dellal (an LRB 'Girl Thursday'), the pair will grace the Fall '08 ad campaigns for Mango.  The photographer Antoni Bernard has shot a series of looks with Hutton that they are calling 

"We love you Lauren."  

It's gotta be all that Tab. Back in the day, my mom followed whatever Lauren Hutton was drinking. And mom's still a strong size 6 (okay, 8 during the holidays). I guess ad campaigns if done right do work.

Girl Thursday: Alice Dellal

British and young seems to be all you need these days if you're going to make it as a "Girl of the Moment."  Alice Dellal is both those things (turns of U.S. legal age on July 29th) and a part-time model and heiress. She gets her riches from her grandfather, a real estate mogul and beauty from her mother, Brazilian model Andrea Dellal. 

Alice Dellal weighs in uber-chic in the social rank.  Rebellious is her signature style and genuine all the while.  She's been shot by Mario Testino, catwalked for Vivienne Westwood, celebrated in Paris Vogue and rumored to be the new face for Agent Provacateur, oh and Alexander Wang is also obsessed with this bright young thing.  I like her in my book, because when you're a young heiress, it should look like a lot of fun - and without the reality show.
