A great one always comes and goes. French icon designer, Ted Lapidus died on Monday, Dec. 29th at age 79. Pioneer of the unisex look and safari suit of the 1960's, he remained a luxury and accessories staple through the 80's and presently with a watches, fragrance and sunglasses line. Ted Lapidus was also known for his military epaulettes and carried devoted celebrities along with him such as The Beatles, Brigitte Bardot and Jane Fonda.
