We like the idea of a private community where people who are interested in luxury and high fashion can find great deals just like many New York fashion insiders do. Now that we also have our blog, it gives an opportunity for our members to have the behind-the-scenes action in the fashion world.

We were very excited about sponsoring the Costello Tagliapietra show during New York Fashion Week and we are even more excited about our first sale with them starting today! They are a talented young duo who are committed to their art. They are exactly the kind of young talent we love to support and bring to all our members. We also have some great jewelry brands coming up who have designed collections exclusively for The Gilt Groupe: Made Her Think, Citrine By the Stones and Miriam Salat. They are all gorgeous, unique and reasonably priced collections.

Yes we do! In addition we have many celebrity wives/husbands, fashion designers, news anchors, supermodels, movie critics, TV personalities, politicians and socialites galore!

I'm a member of Gilt. It's a great site, but I actually prefer hautelook.com. They have more of my favorite designers, a webzine and monthly give aways. This month they are giving away two front row seats to Lauren Conrad's fashion show in LA! You get to meet her and get to keep one of her outfits.
