Ivy League just got cooler. Chester French is Maxwell Drummey and D.A. Wallach, they sound like Ph. D Professors of tomorrow, but they are indeed two Harvard grads who formed a pop band. The duo named themselves after sculptor, Daniel Chester French, who designed the statue at the Lincoln Memorial. Kanye West originally offered them a recording deal contract, but they rejected it for an offer from Pharell Williams' Star Trak Entertainment (a subsidiary of Interscope Records). So far so good for Chester French, and you may recognize Maxwell Drummey's name as recently plagued in the gossips after marrying Peaches Geldof (daughter of Bob Geldof, Boomtown Rats & Live Aid) this past August 12th. Yikes? I still dig the music.
