Blackbook Magazine Needs Fall '08 Interns (NYC)

The BlackBook Guide department of BlackBook magazine needs 2-4 interns for their editorial department for the fall '08 season and immediately.  What began as a tiny insert for BlackBook Magazine since 1996, it's now the IT guide for New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and other glamorous cities that ooze hot spots galore.  How hard is it to get in the BlackBook Guide? Let's just say the words "Kathy Griffin" would never exist in the same sentence.  The BlackBook Guide is highly selective and if you ever want a good read (accompanied w/the right cocktail(s)) it provides witty and honest reviews of venues.

What the intern needs to be:
- Must like publishing
- Must be social (hermits and wallflowers need not apply)
- Must have a creative eye
- Must be available at least 3 days a week from 10am-6pm
- Must need for school credit
- Must be internet and Microsoft/Excel savvy

Unpaid internship, but imagine having the "in" on all the nightlife action. Priceless.

If you can check yourself off on all of those, please email resume (w/cover, but you know that) to Brian Kantor at bkantor@bbook.com.
