Sydney Pollack

I'd like to pay homage to Sydney Pollack who died at age 73 this last weekend. One of my personal favorite directors, Sydney Pollack shaped the world through his talents as a producer, director and actor in many acclaimed ways. As a teenager, I was very advanced in my film watching and used to say, "God, I wish my life was like a Sydney Pollack movie." That holds true to this day.

(*And I still can't watch this final scene of The Way We Were without crying. Every morning on the way to work,  I'd walk by The Plaza Hotel and thought of how exactly Katie Morosky must have felt. Excuse my french, but that's some iconic shit. Thank you Sydney!)
